4x4 Safari in Gran Canaria

Presa de Chira

One of the most interesting points of the excursion is the Presa de Chira, located within a protected landscape of the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve.

Its construction began between 1941 and 1944, and it acquired its current appearance after the project's completion in 1965. Today, it is not only an interesting engineering work but also a place surrounded by nature and mountain landscapes.

Tunte

The next stop is Tunte, the capital of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

During the visit, you will get to know its old town and see its characteristic church.

Fataga and the Valley of the Thousand Palms

The route continues through Fataga, one of the most picturesque villages in this area of the island.

Afterward, the journey crosses the Barranco de las Mil Palmeras, surrounded by palm trees, mountains, and typical Gran Canaria landscapes.

Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada

The last stop is the spectacular Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada.
