All Around Gran Canaria

This route shows the island on three fronts at once: a colourful marina in the south, cliffs and volcanic rock formations along the west coast, and in the north, Europe's only coffee plantation together with the capital's city beach. A Polish-speaking guide accompanies you throughout the day.

Puerto de Mogán

The day begins in Puerto de Mogán, a town of canals, small bridges and flowers on every balcony. Its charming marina, colourful houses and calmer atmosphere than the big resorts make it a good start to the day before the wilder west coast.

Los Azulejos

Natural rock formations whose layers of volcanic tuff have taken on shades of green, yellow and red. The effect is entirely geological, with no human intervention at all, which makes it all the more striking up close.

Mirador del Balcón

A glass platform above the cliffs of the west coast. A view over the open waters of the Atlantic and sheer rock walls dropping to the sea. One of those viewpoints it's hard to walk away from.

Coffee Plantation in Agaete

Gran Canaria is the only place in Europe where Arabica coffee is grown. The visit to the plantation in Agaete includes learning about the growing and production process, plus a tasting of coffee and six traditional Canarian spirits.

Las Canteras in Las Palmas

To close the day, Las Canteras beach in the island's capital, considered one of the finest city beaches in the world. A natural rock barrier shields the bay from the waves, the water is calm, and a seafront promenade runs the length of the beach.

Important Information

The tour runs on Thursdays and Sundays, and on Mondays during the summer season only. Duration: approximately 8 hours. Hotel pick-ups in the south of Gran Canaria.

Included: transport, a Polish-speaking guide, a traditional Canarian tapas-style lunch, a tasting of six local spirits, and a visit to the coffee plantation.

It's worth bringing comfortable shoes, a light jacket or sweater, sunscreen and sunglasses, and some cash for small expenses.
