Landscapes of Gran Canaria – Tour from Las Palmas

What's included?
Tour details
Gran Canaria 360°
This route circles the island in a full loop: it starts at the golden dunes in the south, runs along the west coast with its cliffs and volcanic rock formations, and ends in the Agaete valley in the north, home to Europe's only commercial coffee plantation. A Polish-speaking guide accompanies you throughout the day. The tour departs from Las Palmas.
Maspalomas Dunes
One of Gran Canaria's most iconic sights: vast golden dunes by the Atlantic Ocean that look like a piece of the Sahara transplanted to the seaside. Up close, they leave a very different impression than the view from a hotel balcony.
Puerto de Mogán
A town of canals, small bridges and bougainvillea on every wall. An elegant marina, colourful houses and a slower pace than the big resorts. It's not by chance that it appears on lists of the island's most photographed spots.
Los Azulejos
Natural rock formations whose layers of volcanic tuff have taken on shades of green, yellow and red. A purely geological effect, with no human intervention, made all the more unexpected against the dry west coast backdrop.
Mirador del Balcón
A platform on a cliff more than 350 metres above the Atlantic. A view over Gran Canaria's wild west coast and the open ocean. One of those spots where the sense of scale is unlike anything a photo can capture.
Agaete and the Coffee Plantation
The Agaete valley is the green, humid northern part of the island, entirely unlike the dry south. This is where Europe's only commercial Arabica coffee plantation grows. The visit includes learning about the growing and production process, plus a tasting of the local coffee.
