Teide National Park

Discover one of the most spectacular natural wonders of Tenerife with a trip to Teide National Park, home to the highest mountain in Spain and one of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in the world. The adventure begins with pickup at the selected meeting point, from where we will head towards the heart of the island. During the journey, we will pass through Vilaflor, the highest village in Tenerife and the highest municipality in Spain. Surrounded by pine forests, this charming mountain village offers a first glimpse of the island's stunning volcanic landscape. We will continue to Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its unique landscapes, lava fields, and extraordinary rock formations. One of the highlights of the trip will be Roques de García, where you will have time to stroll among ancient volcanic formations and enjoy unforgettable views of Teide. The park is located within the enormous Caldera de Las Cañadas, a volcanic formation approximately 17 kilometers in diameter. Rising within it is Teide (3,718 meters), the highest mountain in Spain and the third highest volcano in the world when measured from its base on the ocean floor. During the winter months, the snow-covered summit contrasts with the dark volcanic landscape, creating one of the most impressive natural spectacles in Tenerife. Unlike many other trips to Teide, this tour offers enough free time to take the cable car to an altitude of over 3,500 meters, from where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tenerife and the Canary Islands. The cable car ride is optional and not included in the tour price. After visiting the national park, we will return via the scenic road that crosses the Chío area, before continuing to the hotels.

Important information

• This is the only excursion that offers enough time to enjoy the Teide Cable Car.
• The cable car ticket is optional and must be purchased separately.
• The operation of the cable car depends on weather conditions and the schedule set by the operator.
• Temperatures at over 2,000 meters altitude are considerably lower than at the coast.
• It is recommended to wear comfortable and appropriate walking shoes.

Teide Cable Car (optional) For those who wish to take the cable car and enjoy the views from the highest areas of Teide, there is an option to add this activity to the reservation.

The cable car ride is optional and not included in the tour price.

Important: To ride the cable car, it is mandatory to wear closed sports shoes. Access is not allowed with open shoes, sandals, or flip-flops.

Note: The cable car reaches the upper station of La Rambleta, at about 3,555 meters altitude. To access the summit of Teide on foot, a specific permit is required.
