Program

During the tour of Teide National Park, the guide explains the history of the volcano, the geology of the island, the local nature, and interesting facts related to Tenerife's culture. At sunset, there will be a stop to admire the sunset over a sea of clouds, followed by dinner at a traditional Canarian restaurant at about 2000 meters above sea level. After nightfall, the astronomical part begins: professional telescopes, laser pointers, and a guide who shows the stars, planets, constellations, and deep sky objects visible from Tenerife.

Weather Conditions and Refunds

Observations take place at an altitude of over 2000 m above sea level. Even in summer, nighttime temperatures usually range from 5 to 15 °C, and in winter they can drop to near 0 °C. It is advisable to wear warm clothing.

In case of particularly unfavorable weather conditions, the organizer may cancel the excursion and propose another date or a full refund of the amount. If the excursion takes place but the weather conditions prevent a satisfactory observation of the sunset or the stars, the program may be shortened. In that case, those who have booked the dinner option will receive a 50% refund, and those who have not booked it will receive a 100% refund. The decision to carry out, cancel, or shorten the excursion is solely at the discretion of the organizer.
